Abstract

The study of the relationship between the concentration of substrates and the intensity of synthesis of cellulose is not only of theoretical interest, it is of practical interest as well, since it allows one to evaluate possibilities and to outline the ways to increase the harvest of raw cotton. It was anticipated that the synthesis of cellulose should reach a maximum at concentrations of substrates above those in the metabolism of cells [189].
