Abstract
Strong Interaction Physics is actually the least understood domain of Microscopic Physics, in particular in view of the precision with which the electromagnetic and weak interactions are known. This applies both to the knowledge of strong interaction phenomena as well as to our theoretical understanding of them. In the present contribution it is sketched how meson factories like KAON and high precision light baryon accelerators like COSY can contribute in a complementary way to a better investigation and a deeper understanding of Strong Interaction Physics.
