Introduction: History and Development of Our Methods of Classification and Treatment of Acetabular Fractures
Many readers will already know, and the rest must be told, that a significant part of the work presented here was carried out in collaboration between myself and my Boss, the late Professor Robert Judet (Fig. 1.1). I refer to him constantly, so great are the respect, the admiration and the affection that I feel towards him. I am pleased to acknowledge the amount of theoretical and practical things I learned from him; above all, I feel that in the more than 20 years that I worked with him, he conveyed to me some ways of thinking and practising surgery that I will use with benefit until my last day in the operating theatre.
