Abstract

In this chapter the sagittal plane has been chosen for ease of interpretation of sequential developments. Only occasionally have we used transverse sections. The elbow is in a position of flexion with the forearm in pronation. At the age of 6 weeks flexion amounts to 60°; it progresses thereafter to reach up to 135°.
