Abstract
On the occasion of the celebration of seven centuries in the life of the University of Montpellier it is appropriate for the participants in the traditional Reucontres on Inverse Problems to thank its “soul and spirit” Professor Pierre Sabatier for many years of organizational and scientific leadership, past and future.
