Zusammenfassung

Die chronische posttraumatische Osteomyelitis ist wohl die gravierendste Unfallfolgeerkrankung an den Extremitäten. Im folgenden soll anhand eines Fallberichtes ein Therapieweg dargestellt werden, der zu einer glücklich ausgegangenen Sanierung geführt hat. Von besonderer Bedeutung erscheint uns bei der beschriebenen maximalen chirurgischen Therapie die notwendige Kooperation zwischen Operateur und Anästhesisten.
