Zusammenfassung
Das Pankreaskarzinom geht vom Epithel der Ausführungsgänge aus, sehr selten entstammt es den Drüsenacini. Das Pankreaskarzinom müßte daher durch Inspektion des Pankreasgangsystems (Pankreatikoskopie) schon in seinen Frühstadien erkennbar sein. Leider sind hierzu auch bei gegebener Indikation die technischen Möglichkeiten noch nicht ausreichend verfügbar. Man muß sich in der Diagnostik des Pankreastumors heute noch mit indirekten Methoden begnügen. Intervention bedeutet Eingreifen in vorliegende Verhältnisse und deren Veränderung. Interventionelle Endoskopie bei Pankreaskarzinomen ist demnach jede diagnostische oder therapeutische Manipulation über eine rein ösophagogastro- duodenoskopische Befunderhebung hinaus (Tabelle 1).
