Zusammenfassung

Aus dem Titel läßt sieh ein gewisser Zweifel herauslesen, ob die Behandlung der Pankreaszysten noch ausschließlich eine chirurgische sei. In der Tat gibt es heute CT- oder Sonographie-gesteuerte Punktions- und Drainageverfahren, die eine Entleerung der Zyste ermöglichen. Damit stellt sich zwangsläufig die Frage, ob die Operation nun überflüssig geworden ist.
