Drainageverfahren bei chronischer Pankreatitis: Technik und Ergebnisse

Zusammenfassung

Die fortschreitende entzündliche Erkrankung des Pankreas führt zu einer Zerstörung des Organs, die sich in progredienter Funktionsverschlechterung und Schmerzen äußert. Bei einem Teil der Patienten läßt die Schmerzsymptomatik nach vielen Jahren infolge eines „Ausbrennens“ des Pankreas nach [1]. Problematisch ist, daß zu diesem Zeitpunkt meist ein exokriner und v. a. endokriner Funktionsverlust durch die fortgeschrittene Sklerosierung eingetreten ist. Verbunden mit dem langen Krankheitsverlauf ist häufig ein ausgeprägter Analgetika-Abusus oft bei weiterbestehendem Alkoholismus. Das Ziel der therapeutischen Maßnahmen bei chronischer Pankreatitis besteht darin, die Schmerzen zu beseitigen und einen Endzustand mit endokriner Pankreasinsuffizienz zu verhindern.
