Zusammenfassung

Die Indikation zu einer neuroleptischen Langzeitmedikation bei schizophrenen Erkrankungen wird auch von Experten sehr unterschiedlich beurteilt. Die Frage, wann, wie lange und bei welchen Zustandsbildern eine neuroleptische Langzeittherapie indiziert ist, kann nur vor dem Hintergrund einer vielschichtigen Nutzen-Risiko-Abwägung beantwortet werden (Dencker 1984; Kane 1984; Johnson 1984; Möller 1987; Kapfhammer u. Rüther 1988). Im folgenden sollen Ergebnisse aus Untersuchungen der Düsseldorfer Arbeitsgruppe vorgestellt und mit Befunden anderer Autoren diskutiert werden.
