Zusammenfassung

Thioxanthene werden seit etwa 30 Jahren in der Psychosebehandlung verwendet. Clopenthixol (Sordinol) ist durch eine Reihe von Studien als deutlich sedierendes, antipsychotisch wirksames Neuroleptikum mit den typischen anticholinergen und extrapyramidalen Nebenwirkungen dieser Substanzklasse bekannt geworden (Zusammenfassungen bei Angst u. Dinkelkamp 1974; Langer u. Heimann 1983).
