Abstract

The PROMISE project, which is concerned with the provision of a multi-media interface to process control applications is described. Possible application areas are outlined — a Water Treatment Plant, an Electricity Power Generation Facility and a Chemical Plant Control.The proposed work plan is discussed and possible application areas briefly discussed.
