Evolution and Classification of Seed Plants

  • Joachim W. Kadereit
Part of the Progress in Botany/Fortschritte der Botanik book series (BOTANY, volume 51)

In the period under review the botanical community met in Berlin on the occasion of the XIV. International Botanical Congress. Most of the contributions to this congress are summarized in the Abstracts (Greuter et al. 1987), or some printed in length in the Proceedings (Greuter and Zimmer 1988). The study of these two volumes will provide information on recent activities in botany in general and systematic and evolutionary botany in particular.
