Abstract
During examination of the knee joint, attention is given not just to the appearance of the joint itself but to its position in relation to neighboring joints. Thus, the examination must additionally cover the shape and position of the upper and lower legs. As in the examination of the hip joint, the gait is also evaluated (limp, weight bearing, mobility, pain). Findings are discussed on p. 73.
