Zusammenfassung

Das Verfahren des Scale Space Filtering wurde bisher in der Bildverarbeitung zur Beschreibung und Erkennung von ebenen Kurven sowie zweidimensionalen Formen benutzt. In diesem Beitrag wird eine darauf basierende neue Methode zur Berechnung der fraktalen Dimension von digitalen Grauwertbildern vorgestellt. Die fraktale Dimension wird als ein quantitatives Maß zur Texturanalyse, speziell der Textursegmentation, eingesetzt.
