Zusammenfassung

Bei HIV-Infektion liegt neben einem progressiven T-Zell- auch ein B-Zell-Defekt vor. In den USA wurde deshalb mit dem Einsatz von i.v.-Immunglobulinen (IVIG) bei Kindern mit AIDS begonnen, wie seit langer Zeit als Therapie der angeborenen B-Zell-Defekte üblich.
