Zusammenfassung
Regelmäßige körperliche Aktivität und sportliches Ausdauertraining beeinflussen bekanntermaßen den Knochenstoffwechsel positiv und führen zu einem Gewinn an Knochenmasse [3, 8, 20, 26, 27, 31, 38, 40]. Dieser Effekt ist auch bei älteren Menschen feststellbar [27, 38, 42], woraus die Empfehlung körperlicher Aktivität als ein therapeutischer Ansatz der Osteoporose abgeleitet wird. Bei jungen Personen kann sportliches Training als eine der wichtigsten Determinanten für den Aufbau und Erhalt der Knochenmasse gelten, wie Block et al. [3] für Männer und Kanders et al. [24] sowie Marcus et al. [29, 30] für Frauen zeigen konnten.
