Abstract

Human beings as complex living systems are constantly making decisions. Many decision making problems are routine and can be analyzed by mathematical models; and many more are nontrivial which challenge the traditional formal analysis. To successfully solve the nontrivial decision problems, we need to more fully understand human behavior mechanism and encompass the mechanism in our analysis. Let us consider the following example adapted from De Bono [5].
