Zusammenfassung

Beim M. Perthes erstrecken sich die Umbauvorgänge vom Krankheitsbeginn bis zum Abschluß der Remodellierung über viele Jahre, so daß eine definitive Aussage über das Behandlungsresultat und die Langzeitprognose vor Wachstumsabschluß nicht möglich ist. Auch die Bewertung verschiedener Risikofaktoren, wie das Ausmaß des Hüftkopfbefalles [6], Lateralisation des Femurkopfes [27, 28], laterale Verknöcherung sowie ein kleiner lateraler Kopfdefekt [13], Erkrankungsalter etc. erlauben nur bedingt prognostische Aussagen [10–12]. Nutzen und Nachteil unterschiedlicher Behandlungsmaßnahmen können deshalb nur an größeren Kollektiven und nach langer Zeit beurteilt werden.
