Indikation zur operativen Korrektur von Ellbogendeformitäten im Wachstumsalter

Zusammenfassung

Die häufigsten Deformitäten des Ellbogens im Wachstumsalter sind Folgen vorangegangener Traumata, nur selten handelt es sich um kongenitale Mißbildungen, wie z. B. angeborene Synostosierungen zwischen Radius und Ulna oder angeborene Radiusköpfchenluxationen. Die häufigste und die am häufigsten operativ korrigierte Deformität ist der Cubitus varus, weitaus seltener finden sich Valgusdeformitäten des Ellbogens, gefolgt von persistierenden Radiusköpfchenluxationen oder Radiusköpfchendeformierungen mit Einschränkung der Prosupination. Die früher häufigeren, gefürchteten radialen Pseudarthrosen sind heute zu einer Seltenheit geworden.
