Zusammenfassung
Ceftriaxon weist als einziges Zephalosporin eine Halbwertszeit von 6–8 Stunden auf, welche eine Einmalgabe/Tag erlaubt. Ziel der Studie war es, die Wirksamkeit einer Einmalgabe von 1 g Ceftriaxon im Vergleich zu 3 × 1 g Cefotaxim in einer randomisierten Studie zu prüfen [1, 2].
