Zusammenfassung

Im medizinischen Versorgungsalltag stellen die Angsterkrankungen — Monophobien, soziale Ängste, Agoraphobie, „Herzneurose“, Zwangserkrankungen, generalisierte Angsterkrankung — nach wie vor in erster Linie ein Problem in den somato-medizinischen Praxen dar. Versteckt hinter vielfältigen vegetativen und Organbeschwerden, führen sie — über Jahre weder vom Arzt noch vom Patienten adäquat erkannt und zugeordnet — zu umfangreichen organmedizinischen Durchuntersuchungen. Falls danach die Überweisung zum Psychiater erfolgt, führt dies viel zu häufig zu überwiegend psychopharmakologischen Behandlungsangeboten.
