Part of the book series: ESO Monographs ((ESO MONOGRAPHS))

Abstract

Oncological therapy today is characterised by increased specialisation and concentration of therapy in tumour centres. For the tumour patient, this important additional burden means a substantially lowered quality of life. This problem is especially associated with continuous cytotoxic chemotherapy.
