Abstract

We show how disjunctive augmentation (DeJong88) can be achieved by retaining complete explanation structures instead of extracting one single rule out of such a structure. The proposed algorithm integrates knowledge learned from several examples, a common EBL problem. Also the operationality/generality trade-off is accounted for dynamically. Furthermore we discuss some possible extensions.
