Zusammenfassung
Bewegen sich Träger elektrischer Ladungen in eine Vorzugsrichtung, so fließt ein elektrischer Strom in diese Richtung (s. Kap. 25). Der Strom wird erzeugt und aufrechterhalten durch eine angelegte Potentialdifferenz. Die negative Elektrode heißt Kathode, die positive Anode.
