Zusammenfassung
Strahlenbedingte Entwicklungsstörungen stellen für die Gesundheit des Menschen einen wichtigen Risikofaktor dar und sind daher von grundlegender Bedeutung für den Strahlenschutz. Bei der Diskussion über Strahlenrisiken wurde den Lebensprozessen der vorgeburtlichen Entwicklung stets Beachtung entgegengebracht. Diese Beachtung lag jedoch hinter derjenigen zurück, welche der genetischen und der karzinogenen Gefährdung in der postnatalen Lebensphase zukam.
