Zusammenfassung

Die durch angeborene oder erworbene anatomisch faßbare Veränderungen bedingte Obstipation ist einer chirurgischen Therapie zugänglich [5, 18, 39]. Aber auch bei Obstipationsformen, die mit normaler Anatomie, jedoch gestörter Funktion einhergehen, können operative Maßnahmen teilweise erfolgreich sein. Für die Wahl des Therapieverfahrens ist eine gezielte Diagnostik mittels Transitzeitmessung, Defäkographie, analer Manometrie und evtl. EMG Voraussetzung. Die Entscheidung zu einem verantwortungsvollen operativen Vorgehen muß heute von allen diesen Untersuchungsbefunden abhängig gemacht werden [37].
