Zusammenfassung

Die Duplexsonographie ist eine Kombination aus Real-time-B-Bild und Dopp-ler-Ultrasehallmethode. Mit dem bildgebenden Teil wird das zu untersuchende Gefäß identifiziert und der Dopplereinfallswinkel gemessen. Mit dem gepulsten Dopplersystem können die zugehörigen Strömungssignale erfaßt sowie qualitativ und semiquantitativ beurteilt werden. Entsprechende Auswertungsprogramme erlauben die quantitative Flußbestimmung. Aus mittlerer Flußgeschwindigkeit und Gefäßquerschnitt kann das Stromvolumen errechnet werden.
