High Speed Infrared Tracking
The MINILIR System is a high speed infrared tracking system developed by SAT since 1975. Its new version Mark 2 has been improved by the addition of software control based on the use of a microprocessor. This system is built around a small turret giving high accuracy and high dynamic performances. IR tracking is using three different wavelengths that allows a highly accurate tracking in day or night operation, and trajectory results are delivered in real time. This system, already used in various countries, offers a good compromise between cost and operational capabilities with simple operating procedures and maintainance.
