Abstract

In this paper we suggest a model of pattern formation based on the alternative physical mechanism. We consider the mechano-chemical activity and elasticity as elementary properties of embryonic material responsible for its selforganization. In contrast to the “reaction-diffusion” model, our mathematical description includes only few macroscopic parameters available to experimental investigation.
