Abstract

The mandibular angiomas are of particular interest due to,the dramatic hemorrhagic episodes. Ligation of the external carotid artery has proved to be ineffective. Surgery requires a resection of the hemimandible, an operation which is a dangerous as it is mutilating. The progress in developing superselective catheter materials allows an mebolization which obviates the need for an operation. We report three cases of complete healing with percutaneous treatment.
