Abstract
We now consider the case when the Hamiltonian H is superquadratic, that is, behaves like ∥ x ∥ α for some α > 2. The dual action ψ can no longer be minimized (it is easy to check that inf ψ = −∞), so a subtler procedure is required. It will be described in the opening section.
