Zusammenfassung

Die erhöhte Krebsgefährdung von Patienten mit chronisch-entzündlichen Darmerkrankungen ist allgemein bekannt. Sie hat Eingang in die Lehrbücher gefunden und ist im Gegenstandskatalog des Instituts für Medizinische und Pharmazeutische Prüfungsfragen aufgeführt. Die pauschale Feststellung ist in dieser Form jedoch nicht akzeptabel und bedarf verschiedener Differenzierungen. Diese betreffen:

  1. 1)

    die Ausdehnung der Colitis,

  2. 2)

    die Dauer der Erkrankung,

  3. 3)

    die Schwere der Erkrankung,

  4. 4)

    die Unterscheidung in Colitis ulcerosa und M. Crohn,

  5. 5)

    das Auftreten von Dysplasien in der Schleimhaut.
