Transport of Taurocholate in Isolated Cells from Ileum, Liver and Kidney
Part of the Proceedings in Life Sciences book series (LIFE SCIENCES)
Bile acid carriers are localized in ileum, liver, and kidney. It is unknown whether these carriers are identical or different. This work uses isolated cells of the three organs to compare the uptake kinetics of taurocholate.
