Zusammenfassung
Die heute gebräuchlichen endoskopischen Blutstillungsmaßnahmen im Verdauungstrakt basieren überwiegend auf lokalen thermischen (z. B. Elektro-Hydro-Thermosonde (EHT), Laserkoagulation) oder chemischen (z. B. Polidocanol) Gewebeschädigungen [4]. Dabei wird im allgemeinen eine gute initiale Blutstillung durch lokale Ödembildung, entweder durch das injizierte Volumen, die chemische Noxe oder durch eine thermische Nekrose erreicht. Bei Injektion von vaskokonstriktiven Substanzen kommt zur lokalen Ödembildung der Effekt des verminderten Blutzustroms hinzu [10].
