Hydrogen Spillover on Oxide Surfaces

Abstract

The migration of a sorbed species, like hydrogen, from one solid phase, like a metal, where it is easily adsorbed and dissociated, onto another solid phase, like an oxide, in contact with the first, where it does not directly adsorb, has been defined as spillover.
