Perspectives on Drug Users

Conference paper

Abstract

The Federal Republic of Germany can be considered as the gateway for the narcotic trade due to its central location in Western Europe. The amount of narcotics seized in the last few years has reached alarming levels.1 The Bundeskriminalamt (BKA) has initiated several research projects dealing with drug-related crime.2 Their findings should be used to develop more effective policies to combat drug crime.
