Abstract
The A-dependence of event structure in the central and projectile fragmentation regions has been studied for highly inelastic proton nucleus collisions at 800 GeV. The production cross sections, multiplicity distributions and transverse momenta were measured for events with large transverse energy using targets of H, Be, C, Al Cu and Pb.
