Abstract
In many fields of the design of technical objects the employment of modern graphics workstations allows a transition from the traditional work in two dimensional sections to an immediate manipulation of three dimensional forms. Frequently the surfaces of such objects are composed of different curved faces. The designer has to determine the boundaries of these faces as curves on the surfaces. A concept for marking such curves in a graphical interaction is being presented.
