Dieser Beitrag stellt zunächst die Anwendungsbereiche der Simulation auf Mikrocomputern in Biologie und Chemie vor. Anschlieβend werden die besonderen Anforderungen diskutiert, die an Simulations-Software bei der Anwendung auf Mikrocomputern zu stellen sind, und eine kurze Übersicht über vorhandene Software gegeben.

Summary

This contribution presents the areas of application for the simulation on microcomputers in biology and chemistry. Then the special requirements are discussed, which have to be met by simulation software running on microcomputers, and a short survey on existing software is given.
