Abstract

This talk is divided in two parts. In the first one I will present some new Shell Model results for the Zr isotopes, obtained with A. Etchegoyen at the TANDAR laboratory. In the second part I will present a weak-coupling description of intruder states and its application to the case of the Zr isotopes, carried out with G. E. Arenas Peris at the University of Buenos Aires.
