Experimental Study of the Taylor-Görtler Instability

Abstract

The instability phenomenon in a laminar boundary layer in the presence of streamwise curvature presents many interesting features, both from a dynamical systems point of view, as well as for engineering applications. Our intention here is to look more closely at the instability of a laminar boundary layer over a concave wall.
