Abstract

We are interested in the study of hydrodynamical centrifugal force-driven instabilities. The centrifugal force-driven instability occurs in a flow with curved streamlines and is due to the competition between the centrifugal force and radial pressure gradient. It causes a stratification of the kinetic momentum of the fluid particles which results in a secondary motion in the flow in the form of longitudinal rolls in the flow direction [1].
