Sexual Disturbances in Diabetes Mellitus

  • H. R. Henrichs
Conference paper

Following chronic renal failure and coronary heart disease, diabetes is a further cause of trouble with male sexuality. The common factor of these chronic diseases is their effect on well-being and self-esteem which might produce reactive psychogenic disturbances, e.g., erectile dysfunctioning. So far a common etiological view has led to common remedies: special sex counseling or the wide range of further psychological management.
