Zusammenfassung
Morphometrische und stereologische Arbeiten werden innerhalb der Medizin und Biologie durchgeführt, um etwas über die quantitative Zusammensetzung des Gewebes oder der Zellen aussagen zu können. Diese Untersuchungen werden an einem Präparat, meistens an einem Schnittpräparat ausgeführt, das über teilweise komplizierte Prozeduren hergestellt wird. Der Wert der Untersuchung steht und fällt mit dem Grad, in dem die Resultate den Verhältnissen in vivo entsprechen.
