Zusammenfassung
Eine bildanalytische Bewertung klinischer Präparate aus der Zytologie oder Histologie ist vor allem dann von Interesse, wenn die pathologischen Veränderungen nicht eindeutig durch rein visuelle Begutachtung zu erkennen sind. Es mag sich dabei um atypische Veränderungen handeln, die so gering sind, daß sie erst durch Messsung und statistische Bewertung eindeutig nachweisbar werden. Es mag sich um Veränderungen handeln, die keine visuell erkennbare Grundlage haben, z.B. Änderungen der Textur des Chromatins im Kern oder in der Anordnung von Zellkernen im Gewebe.
