The Signs and Causes of True or Simple Gonorrhoea in Women, and also of Virulent Gonorrhoea

  • François Du Port

Abstract

The seminal effusion attacks man and woman alike. When it is simple, a scanty serous or white discharge comes from the uterine cervix, without venereal lust, distress or severe pain or serious odour. But if the poison is associated with ill-fated intercourse, and foul lascivious ardour, it is dirty, white, yellow or green in colour and stings and sears the skin and has a stinking smell, flows incessantly, and is often accompanied by an ulcer. And gonorrheoa affects men too from the same cause.
