Abstract
Brassica crops have been utilized in a variety of forms such as vegetables, oil crops, fodder, condiments and ornamentals. These species are widely distributed in the temperate regions of the world. The genus Brassica is classified as a member of the subtribe Brassicinae of the tribe Brassiceae in the family Cruciferae (Schulz 1936).
