Pharmakokinetische Untersuchungen an Hämophilie B-Patienten nach Infusion eines Faktor IX-Konzentrates

Zusammenfassung

Die Lebenserwartung und die Lebensqualität hämophiler Patienten blieb bis in die 70iger Jahre deutlich eingeschränkt. Frischplasma, Kryopräzipitate, vor allem aber Faktoren-Hochkonzentrate führten zu einer dramatischen Verbesserung der Lebensqualität dieser Patienten und ließen eine normale Lebenserwartung erhoffen. Die sogenannte kontrollierte Heimselbstbehandlung mit diesen Faktoren-Hochkonzentraten ermöglichte eine nahezu normale Lebensführung. Transfusionsbedingte virale Infektionen zwangen zur Revision dieser Erwartungshaltung und veranlaß-ten die Hersteller von Faktoren-Konzentraten, die Präparationen mit Virus-inaktivierenden Verfahren zu behandeln, um das Risiko transfusionsbedingter Infektionskrankheiten zu reduzieren (Heinrich et al. 1982, Mannucci et al. 1985, Schimpf et al. 1987 a-c).
