Zusammenfassung

Etwa 80% der lebensbedrohlichen kindlichen Unfälle sind durch ein stumpfes Trauma bedingt. Es hinterläßt häufig nur geringe äußere Spuren, auch wenn schwerste innere Verletzungen vorliegen. Einen Überblick über das Verletzungsmuster von 448 mehrfachverletzten Kindern gibt Abb. 1 von Hofman et al. [4].
